Terms and Conditions

Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following is understood:
• Lessor: Bike Rental Julianadorp
• Renter: the natural or legal person who rents a bicycle
• Bicycle: the means of transport made available by the lessor

Article 2 - Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements and deliveries of services by the lessor. Deviations are only valid if agreed in writing.

Article 3 - Rental price and payment
The rental price is inclusive of VAT and any other charges. Payment must be made in advance, unless otherwise agreed. Additional costs may be charged for late return.

Article 4 - Use of the bicycle
The renter must use the bicycle in a responsible manner and lock it when not in use. The renter is responsible for damage to the bicycle during the rental period.

Article 5 - Liability
The lessor is not liable for damage caused by use of the rented bicycle, unless this damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the lessor. The lessor is not liable for theft of personal property.

Article 6 - Cancellation
Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the rental period. For later cancellation, 50% of the rental price will be charged.

Article 7 - Disputes
Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
