Rental conditions

1. The customer is deemed to have received the rented object in good condition. The rentalcompany is deemed to have delivered the rented object in good condition.
  2. The customer is liable for damage resulting from theft as well as all other damage, regardless of how it originated, caused to the rented object, regardless of whether this is the result of faulty use by the customer or third parties. The customer shall pay the resulting costs of repair as well as the costs of replacement, including those of damaged parts, to the rentalcompany in cash no later than the agreed return date of the object.
  3. The rentalcompany is at all times authorized to confiscate the rented property in case of alleged misuse.
  4. In case of return after the agreed return date, the rentalcompany will charge the full day's rent for each day that the object is returned later than agreed, to be calculated from the moment of closing time on the return date, plus a fine of 10 euros for every day that the object is returned too late.
  5. In the event of theft, the customer is liable for the current value of the object, not including loss of rent.
  6. The customer will take care of the rented object as a good user.
  7. The customer bears full legal responsibility for damage caused to third parties.
  8. In the event of early return, the agreed rent will continue to apply.
  9. In addition to respecting traffic rules and local police regulations, it is strictly forbidden to:
  - drive up and down the curbs;
  - to collide with vehicles while driving;
  - transport more people than the object provided.
 
  Cancellation conditions:
  If an agreement is canceled by the customer, the rentalcompany can charge the following cancellation costs:
  – in case of cancellation up to and including 2 days before the day of rental: 20% of the total rent costs.
  – in case of cancellation from 1 day before the day of rental: the full rent costs.
  Dutch law is applicable to all disputes that may arise from the rental agreements. Furthermore, only the Dutch court is competent to take cognizance of these disputes.

Closed for the winter season

Dear customers,

As the end of September approaches, we would like to remind you that our bike rental season ends at the end of this month. We will be closed for the winter season from October 1 and we look forward to welcoming you again from april 2025.
